Child and Youth Mental Health
Mental health problems affect about 1 in 10 children and young people. Recent surveys suggest that depression is the third leading cause of illiness and disability among adolescents, while suicide is the third leading cause of death in 15-19 year olds. Alarmingly, 70% of the children and young people who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate and timely support.
This program was design to enable children and young people access timely care and support to build resillience and mental fitness.
